These are gorgeous! I was admiring the second one in your new banner... and then came down to this post and saw them both. I've been wanting to branch out and use my sewing machine and fabric stash in addition to just using my loom and yarn stash :-)
...I might just have to use you as inspiration, and try my hand at something like this!
Do you use that iron-on backing/stabilizer stuff that has a name I can't remember at the moment? Or just fabric and raw edge applique??

I do not use any sort of interfacing, although it can be helpful, I just find it simpler not to.
